Meet POPPY! This adorable and very SWEET chocolate senior gal with be heading our way in a few weeks from Georgia. Poppy was rescued from a kill shelter about two months ago when her time ran out! A rescue in Georgia pulled her for us! Poppy is blind and suffered from a ruptured ear drum which has left her with permanent head tilt. It also made her feel like she was walking upside down. Because of this, she was unable to travel safely to New York and was being medically cared for and fostered in Georgia. She recently received the okay from her Vet to travel, and will be making her way to the Big Apple just in time for Thanksgiving! Poppy has a lot to be thankful for and so will the person or family who gets to share their life with this gentle and loving Angel!
